The InsideOut Mental Health Awards will celebrate our mental health and the organisations and individuals who champion it!
On 26 March 2020 in London we will host the inaugural InsideOut Mental Health Awards, celebrating our mental health and those organisations and individuals who champion it. The evening itself will be very different to any other awards ceremony you have attended in the past and will provide a unique experience of celebration, networking, entertainment, and dancing with the industry’s finest.
The awards will be brought to you by Rob Stephenson, Founder of InsideOut and Chris Cummings, MD of the Wellbeing @ Work events globally. The diverse judging panel will be formed of industry thought leaders and young people with lived experience and fresh perspectives.
Together we will mark the progress of stigma getting smashed and celebrate the creation of mentally healthy workplaces that allow all employees to prioritise their wellbeing.

|Best use of Technology||Awarded to the company who have used technology to improve wellbeing and mental health in the organisation. Could be a joint award between the corporate and the technology provider.|
|Employer Innovation Award||Awarded to the employer who has demonstrated the most innovative approach to mental health and wellbeing during the year.|
|Third Party Influence Award||Awarded to the employer who has best influenced beyond its own walls eg down the supply chain, or into their client base.|
|Mental Health Benefits Award||Awarded to the employer who has the best integrated benefits offering for mental health and wellbeing.|
|Mental Health First Aid Award||Awarded to the employer who has the best strategy in relation to Mental Health First Aiders with emphasis given to quality control, support and supervision of the first aiders and measuring impact.|
|Employer Initiative of the Year||Awarded to the Charity/Corporate and Agency jointly for the best mental health campaign during the year.|
|SME Initiative of the Year Award||Awarded to the SME who has implemented the best mental health and wellbeing programme in the year focussing on recovery and preventative solutions.|
|Large Employer Thriving at Work Award||Awarded to the large employer who is excelling against the Thriving at Work Core and Enhanced Standards|
|Behind the Scenes Champion||Awarded to an individual employee who has worked behind the scenes to create etc biggest impact on the mental health agenda. This person will not necessarily have lived experience but will have made a difference in their organisation.|
|Individual Storyteller Award||Awarded to an individual who has shared their story of mental ill-health and created the most impact in their workplace.|
|Executive Sponsor Award||Awarded to the senior leader (Board, C-Level, Function Head, Partner) who has used their position to best drive positive change and create a mentally healthy culture.|
|Government Leader Award||Awarded to the MP, Minister or Politician who has best championed the mental health agenda during the year.|
|Line Manager Award||Awarded to the line manager who has shown the best commitment to the mental health agenda with practical examples of actively supporting/promoting wellbeing in their teams and supporting individual team members.|
|Media Personality Award||Awarded to the journalist or TV presenter who has best championed the mental health agenda during the year.|
|Wellbeing Leader Award||Awarded to the wellbeing lead who has made the biggest impact in their organisation on driving forward the mental health and wellbeing agenda.|
|Individual Campaigner of the Year||Awarded to the person who has made the biggest difference in the year. This should be the most coveted award.|
Entry is FREE, very simple & the deadline is 30 November 2019.
You can enter across multiple categories that are relevant to you, your organisation or initiative and nominations for others are also very welcome.
Once all of the entries have been received, we will be back in touch with you to clarify the information supplied and handed over to our judging panel for shortlisting.
The judging day takes place at the end of the year and you will then be informed if you have progressed to the main gala evening taking place on 26 March 2020.

The InsideOut Awards Entry Guidelines
All categories are open to all individuals and companies that can provide the requested information outlined in the nomination form before the deadline for entries which is 30 November 2019. Go to the ‘How to Enter’ tab at the top of the page to submit your entries.
2. Entry Requirements
All entries are free and must be completed online by following the ‘How to Enter’ tab at the top of the page before the closing deadline of 30 November 2019.
You can submit as many entries as you wish free of charge and there are no limits to the number of categories a submission can be entered for, as long as the entry is relevant to the category.
3. Award Criteria and Judging Process
All entries must be completed in full and submitted online using the online submission form. Any incomplete entries will be returned to the nominee for further details requested. Our independent and vastly experienced judging panel will meet early 2020 for our official judging day where they will shortlist three entries for each category and the shortlisted entries will be informed soon after this process.
We will then announce the Bronze, Silver & Gold Winners at the Awards evening on 26th March 2020 in London. All Gold winners will be welcomed onto the stage to receive an engraved trophy and Bronze & Silver winners will receive a certiﬁcate on the evening. Winners will be entitled to use the “InsideOut Awards Winner 2019” logo in their communications at no extra charge.
